Weight: 114kg

Rugby Position: hooker but should of played 9.

Cycling Experience: a few rides in lockdown 1 but FairPlay I’m slow!

Reason For doing the challenge.

(See weight above) Watching the bbc interviews with Rob Burrows and Doddie Weir. It makes you realise how fortunate we are to have our health and the ability to attempt something like this. After retiring from the game it’s very easy to slip into a “tomorrow will do “ attitude towards health and fitness. Hopefully we can help some people who have had that choice taken away from them.

If by simply turning my legs, I can turn around somebody’s day/week/month, then it totally worth it!

Name: Ed Taylor

Age: 27

Weight: 110kg

Rugby Position: Back Row / Second Row

Cycling Experience: Grand total of 200 miles

Reason For Doing The Challenge: I’d be excited to give back to the community that shaped who I am today, by helping those in need! Particularly when charities aren’t receiving the level of funding they received pre-COVID. Also, Rugby would always provide me with a challenge and a goal to work towards every weekend. But since stepping out of pro rugby during COVID times, it’s been difficult to replicate these regular physical challenges. So let’s see what all of this fuss is about.
